Eligibility
Candidates must hold a degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, such as B.V.Sc. & A.H. or an equivalent qualification, from a recognised University or Institution. The candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam. A valid Assam PRC issued for educational purposes or a valid Assam Employment Exchange Registration Certificate is required.
Age Limit
As on 1 January 2026, the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 38 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of Assam rules.
Salary
The post carries Pay Band-4 with a pay scale of ₹30,000–₹1,10,000 and Grade Pay of ₹12,700, along with other allowances admissible under Assam Government rules.
