Admission Overview

Bhattadev University is conducting the Common Admission Test for Admission into B.Ed. Programmes (BUCAT-B.Ed.) for the 2026-27 academic session. The test is conducted offline, while applications are submitted online. A total of 250 B.Ed. seats are available across three affiliated colleges.

Eligibility

Applicants must have passed any of the following, or an equivalent recognised degree:

  • B.A., B.Sc. or B.Com.
  • M.A., M.Sc. or M.Com.

Minimum marks are 50% for General candidates and 45% for SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates. Final-year students may also apply, subject to fulfilling the eligibility requirements during document verification by the respective college.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹1,800, payable through SBI Collect.

The test has 100 multiple-choice questions, carries 100 marks, and is bilingual in English and Assamese.

Tentative Test Centres

The tentative centres are Pathsala, Barpeta, Sorbhog and Kalgachia. The final centre allocation is subject to feasibility.
